About Me

My name is Kiersten, and I graduated Marist University in May 2025. I majored in Media Studies and Production with a concentration in Film and Television and a minor in Professional Writing,

I’ve developed a strong foundation in storytelling, post-production, and digital content creation. My experience includes both traditional media and digital platforms, with hands-on internships at NBCUniversal’s LXTV division and HIP Video Promo. During my academic year and summer internships at NBC, I assisted on various shoots in New York and Miami as a Production assistant. I also acted as an assistant editor for the show George to the Rescue while using Adobe Premiere. At HIP, I led the creation of short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook, translating client messaging into fast-paced, engaging edits.

Alongside my internships, I’ve freelanced social media videos for brands like Urban Decay, Parade, Rocket Money, and Trashie, tailoring edits to match each brand’s voice and visual identity. My work blends a sharp eye for detail with a passion for visual storytelling, and I’m especially drawn to fast-paced environments that value creativity and collaboration. As I look ahead to postgrad opportunities, I’m excited to bring my editing skills, production experience, and creative energy to a team that’s telling bold, compelling stories through video.
